Can a name, even just first name, be found from a mobile phone number?

Hi there,

I'm sure this is the oldest story in the world but...

I'm 7 months pregnant and have suddenly found the same number popping up on my husband's phone bills over the past few months.

I hated myself for it, but checked his phone once or twice - and this number is not saved in his contacts and all messages/calls etc are erased.

I hope that it's just a friend and I am jumping to conclusions, but worry that he may be cheating on me if only 'emotionally'. When I called the number once, a woman answered and that made me feel horrible.

I am wondering - is it possible to find out a name from a mobile phone number? Even a first name, so I would know if it's a friend or not. I'm a strong woman and I'd much rather bring this child into the world with a partner I can trust - and if he IS cheating, I'd rather know and move on with my life before my child has to suffer endlessly down the track.
