I am looking to hire a private investigator/process server, but need to know what would be the best and least expensive way to go about it. I have a lowlife exhusband who has been paying less than the bare minimum in childsupport for going on 9 years. My daughter is now 11 years old and we divorced when she was 2 years old. About a year ago I asked the Attorney General to re-evaluate his income because he is not paying enough to help support our daughter. When a hearing was set he apparently quit his job and moved because the address he gave to me is where they attempted to serve him at and failed, and they could not serve him at and the job that he had he because he was no longer employed with them. I have a feeling that he is trying to do the same thing because I called his sister, who he supposedly lives with, to ask where he was, and she told me that he does not live there anymore. So when he finally called me back I asked him where he lives now and he told me that he still lives with his sister, and he then gave me information for where he is currently employed but the name and address does not match with the last order to withhold from earnings paper I was provided with through the Attorney General's Office. He has lied to me so many times before about his work and residence that I know that he is not being truthful. I had to re-apply for another hearing and it will be coming up shortly but when I do get another hearing set I dont want this to happen again so I need to be prepared for the worst even if it means paying for a P.I. and process server to locate him and serve him. The deal is, I live in Oklahoma, he lives in the Dallas TX area, and the county that has juristiction on our case is in El Paso, TX. In order for me to make sure that he is served the papers to get him in court I would need to hire my own investigator/process server. Do I need to hire someone in El Paso, TX to pick up the papers, and then hire someone to investigate where he lives and works in Dallas, and have the El Paso server send the papers to the server in Dallas so they can serve him? Or do I need to hire someone from Dallas to drive to El Paso TX to pick up the papers and drive back with the papers to serve him? Or do I hire someone from El Paso to go pick up the papers, and then drive to dallas and serve him there? I need to know the lease expensive way, and the most effective way to get this done right. And about what will this cost approximately to get something like this done? I have pictures of him and he is very easy to spot as he has a huge tattoo on his neck and some on his hands, and forearms.
