There is a case of residents in a neighbourhood receiving threatening letters. However, no prints could be found on the letters and also no leads from the postal agency as they do not have a monitoring system on their posts. The victims have no idea who the culprit/s could be. DNA exam may not be feasible.

Does anyone able to think of a way to solve such cases, ie. trace the culprit/s?

the matter had already been reported to police.

basically, a resident in the neighbourhood owes some people money. and almost everyone in the neighbourhood received letters threatening to cause harm to the neighbourhood if that resident still does not pay up. and the problem is, that resident also seems to have moved out, and no one knows where he is. so far, nothing has happened. but people are scared.

such batch of letters would come about once every month, and this has been happening for months.

how?

My, my, sounds like an isreali way of doing things, ie take out everyone in the surrounding area!!! Anyway sounds like a crackpot and given it seems to have gone on for some time and nothing has happened to date then nothing likely will. If the police had been involved to such extent to carryout a fingerprint examination then they have to their disposal all the best resourses to trace this person. What puzzles me is that if this person is looking to get money back then they would want to be found!!!! Unless they have something to do with disappearance of the one neighbour who owed the money to begin with. In which case that surley would be the end of the matter. regardless this person will finally get bored with it and just go away of their own accord.
