I have read many of the threads regarding missing people and some sounded quite sad and frustrated. I was wondering are there any of you pro's, not so much reveal trade secrets, but give a short checklist of what people can do for themselves, to basically empower them a little for what for many are long fruitless years of searching?

Yes I'm a professional and find that answering peoples query's via a personal message post or a private email to the address supplied is a little bit more discreet than writing a post asking for details. However I do think it would be nice if people started sharing ideas and stories etc.... so maybe we should start doing that??
