I have been the victim of this on a web forum.How do I go about finding the perp. Willing to pay for this service.Some of the content written about me is horrid

This is my first post so here goes, and I notice no response which is peculiar for a forum. It would be virtually impossible to trace perpetrator if you cannot detect any telltale clues in what they write. On the otherhand if you can pm them and try and persuade them to converse live with you on msn messenger or similar, then that may give you the most concrete evidence by way of company server or ip address etc. If the forum moderators allow this why participate? It is a lower grade of cyber crime and given the volume of crime through the medium of the internet that goes unremedied you might just have to put it down to bad experience.
